چکیده
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play crucial roles in multiple cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the effects and molecular mechanisms of circ_LRIG3 HCC remain barely unknown. qRT-PCR assay was employed to detect levels circ_LRIG3, LRIG3, miR-449a ring finger protein 38 (RNF38). RNase R Actinomycin D were performed analyze characteristics circ_LRIG3. Colony formation MTT used evaluate cell proliferation. Flow cytometry analysis transwell adopted for apoptosis metastasis, respectively. Western blot carried out Ki67, Snail, E-cadherin, RNF38, Smad2/3 p-Smad2/3. Murine xenograft model explore role vivo. expression upregulated tissues cells. Knockdown suppressed proliferation, migration invasion facilitated cells vitro blocked tumor growth RNF38 overexpression reversed knockdown on malignant behaviors Moreover, could sponge positively modulate inhibited progression by sponging miR-449a. In addition, silencing might inhibit pathway. modulation miR-449a/LRIG3 axis, which provide a novel method therapy.

LncRNA‐DANCR contributes to lung adenocarcinoma progression by sponging miR‐496 to modulate mTOR expression
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have emerged as new and important regulators of pathological processes including tumour development. In this study, we demonstrated that differentiation antagonizing non-protein coding RNA (DANCR) was up-regulated in lung adenocarcinoma (ADC) and that the knockdown of DANCR inhibited tumour cell proliferation, migration and invasion and restored cell apoptosis res...
متن کامل5-Lipoxygenase contributes to the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma.
5-Lipoxygenase (5-LOX) has been implicated in the development and progression of lung, pancreatic and esophageal cancers. However, its role in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the role of 5-LOX in the pathogenesis of HCC. The expression of 5-LOX was detected in human HCC, HepG2 cells and diethylnitrosamine (DEN)-induced rat HCC using immunohistochemist...
متن کاملmiR-449a inhibits colorectal cancer progression by targeting SATB2
miR-449a has been reported to act as a tumor suppressor in several cancers, however, it is controversial whether it inhibits tumor growth in colorectal cancer. The mechanisms underlying its expression and functions in colorectal cancers are still largely unknown. SATB2 is a sensitive and specific marker for CRC diagnosis. However, the mechanisms by which the expression and functions of SATB2 ar...
متن کاملMiR-449a promotes breast cancer progression by targeting CRIP2
The identification of prognostic biomarkers and their underlying mechanisms of action remain of great interest in breast cancer biology. Using global miRNA profiling of 71 lymph node-negative invasive ductal breast cancers and 5 normal mammary epithelial tissues, we identified miR-449a to be highly overexpressed in the malignant breast tissue. Its expression was significantly associated with in...
متن کاملmiR-182-5p promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression by repressing FOXO3a
BACKGROUND High frequency of recurrence is the major cause of the poor outcomes for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). microRNA (miR)-182-5p emerged as a high-priority miRNA in HCC and was found to be related to HCC metastasis. Whether the expression of miR-182-5p in tumor tissue correlated with early recurrence in HCC patients underwent curative surgery was unknown. METHODS Real-t...
